Leslie Combemale interviewed Donny for Animation Scoop about his memories and thoughts about the film: While he rarely spoke about being the voice of the “young prince” during more of his adult life, he has recently found great joy in embracing his part in making Bambi an enduring classic. Bambi, the classic 1942 Disney feature known and loved around the world, is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a new collection on digital HD debuting today (May 23rd) – and on blu-ray on June 6th.
